[va-richmond-general] Who is raiding hummingbird feeders?

I've walked outside on one or two occasions to find mammals at the
hummingbird feeder
on a brush pile. Raccoons and Opossums both have sweet tooths. I would
bet on
them. Another possibility is ants; bees can empty feeders but would not
be doing it at night.
I have heard of nectar-feeding bats emptying hummingbird feeders, but
the bats in Virginia
should all be strictly insect-eaters.
