Hello VA Birders,
Allen Bryan and myself observed an immature White Ibis this morning in
eastern Henrico County at Crewes Pond/Channel. First seen by Allen at
daybreak, I saw it around 6:40 am. Still present at 9:30 am.
Crewes is adjacent to state route 156 just north of route 5. You can pull
off on the shoulder, but be safe as the occasional vehicle that does pass
travels at quite fast.
