Eric,
This is a question for which eBird is a great resource. Here's a bar chart
for Richmond and Richmond City generated from the database. If you haven't
used these before, the size of the green box for each week refers to the
relative of the abundance for that species in that week. For warblers, it
shows that the earlier arriving species start to trickle in around April
1st and that most species have peak numbers in mid-May. Hope this helps!

I don't have a camera with a long lens, but it's OK. As I get older I am
trying to wean myself away from taking pictures of everything, and I find
that it makes my life experiences more enjoyable the more ephemeral they
are.
