An article in the July/August issue of the ABA's Birding magazine celebrates
the accomplishments in the field of a number of Virginia conservationists.
The piece, which I authored, is titled "Virginia's Conservation Cadre", and
features several birding conservationists in the 5-page article.
I want to thank all who generously allowed me to tag along on your outings
and answered my many questions. It's amazing to witness the many different
kinds of ongoing conservation activities across the state, which, I believe,
is representative of similar unheralded work of conservationists throughout
the nation.
