[va-richmond-general] Re: [Va-bird] The Richmond Raven

Went to look for this bird today and had no luck. I found the Vulcan
facility, which I seem to remember someone speculating might be the bird's
regular hangout. No one was there, but I did notice that they have a
habitat and wildlife bulletin board in their meeting room. That is down
Goodes Rd. past the RR tracks. Maybe they are willing to take visitors at
some point? Anyhoo...has anyone seen the bird since 2/29? Oh, there were a
couple of kestrels perched along Commerce, but they were gone when I turned
back and I did not get the name of the closest intersection. Not sure I
would just walk around anywhere down there, but it's pretty empty today.

Not only did I not spell well when I posted my earlier notice about the
Corvus corax in south Richmond, I neglected to be precise about the
location: In the 1400 block of Commerce Road between the intersections
of Ingram and Bruce Streets. There is a very large vacant lot on the
west side of Commerce Road and a vast expanse of empty tobacco
warehouses there.
