[va-richmond-general] VSO Outer Banks, etc. weekend list additions

Dear Peggy,
As usual I had great fun this weekend. It was wonderful to see you. I have hopes of making it to High Knob for the June trip.
At Alligator River NWR with some other folks I saw White-breasted Nuthatch, Brown-headed Nuthatch and Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. A Cooper's Hawk was seen there several times over the weekend. And at dusk watching for Short-eared Owls that never showed we heard dueting Great Horned Owls in the patch of woods just past Sawyer Lake Road. I think these are additions to the eBird list. The Red Wolf with the radio collar Mike and Lisa Johnson pointed out to me more than made up for the dip on the Short-eareds.
