Hi Folks,
Just a note to introduce this year's Maymont-VCU Discovery Institute
Lecture Series, the topic of which is "Wrapped Up in Raptors." Held at
Maymont's Robins Visitor and Nature Center on a series of five Thursday
nights in April and early May, the lectures are free and open to the
public. The first lecture is on April 2nd and features Dr. Brian Watts,
Director of the College of William and Mary/VCU Center for Conservation
Biology at the Rice Center. The title of his lecture is "Raptor
Conservation in Virginia." I am attaching a copy of the lecture series
brochure which provides details on all five lectures. Believe you will
find any or all of these lectures well worth attending.
