I think it should be obvious that treated lumber shouldn't be used directly for
the wood that is used to build the contact parts of birdhouses or feeders.
Poisons are used to treat the wood. Parts used to attach the houses to poles or
decks could probably be made from treated lumber since birds only perch on
those parts.
