Hi,
This is to notify you that the March/April issue of The Thrasher, the RAS
newsletter, is now available online as a PDF download. This is in color, and is
not large enough to bog down your dialup server. Click here to access it:
http://www.cvco.org/science/audubon/ThrasherMain.html
Your really need to see the color version anyway to get the real impact of the
photographs!
Note that the paper version (in black&white) is now at the printer and will be
delivered as close as possible to March 1. It has to be sent in around the 19th
to guarantee on-time mailing. However, several pieces of information in the
printed copy are different from the online version. That is due to changes that
occurred last Thursday, the day after the file was sent to the printer. These
changes are as follows:
1) The March meeting will be held at Twin Hickory Library instead of St Luke
Church. Directions are on the website and the online version.
2) The meeting in March will not include a pre-meeting dinner since we don't
have the neccesary facility for that. There will be some folks going to a
nearby restaurant. See the website for details.
3) The program for the April meeting will be the same, except that two
additional presenters will be participating. See the online Thrasher for
details.
4) The Nominating Committee report on Page 3 has several changes due to several
people stepping up to the plate last Thursday at the RAS meeting and agreeing
to be committee chairs. The online version has the latest information. Thanks
for all those home runs. We do have one more holdout, but we are working on him.
Thanks,
Al Warfield
