[va-richmond-general] The Wetlands this am--indigos, n. waterthrush

Missed the WBW group, but still had a good walk. Kingfishers heard and
seen, just not exactly where I most want to observe them. The WEVI nest is
substantially complete (white-eyed vireo-did I get it right?). Near the
kingfisher burrows I saw a male prothonotary, a stunning Northern
Waterthrush very close but moving too much for photos, and two male indigo
buntings. Not one of them was singing, just ravenously eating. Later in
the meadow I saw three male indigos sitting close to each other. I guess
the females arrive later? Have a great day!
