Dear Sue,
Thank you, but I actually thought you had taken coherent notes!!! I am just
kidding. Wow. I wonder if we are allowed to bring recording devices (other
than you) into the General Assembly. Really impressive job, Sue. I am
floored. May we bring tape recorders?
Margaret,
Maybe part of the problem is that Environmental causes are all over the place
with so many different special interests. Save this species; save that piece
of land. Not that I don't believe these things should be saved. I do. The
more I read about environmental issues, the more impossibe saving anything
seems. Politicians can be so deceptive using every loophole and marginal
interpretation of the law they can dream up. If anyone wants a good laugh
about this sad process, "Sick Puppy" (Carl Haasin) is a nice piece of fiction,
but somewhat racey and very hip. Well, I am glad we have the internet anyway.
It is a great tool for us.
Linda,
Thanks for the response. I'll bring salad and look forward to dinner!
See ya,
Katie
