This morning we had a treetop chorus of Chipping Sparrows. We've never
seen them in such numbers in our yard - a virtual plethora - superfluity
- just lots - requiring 2 or more hands to count!! And a White-eyed
Vireo, and the song of a Prothonatory (first song ID this spring, so I'm
slightly tentative) down by the creek. The Hermit Thrushes walk around
out front. White-throated Sparrows still around, but greatly diminished
numbers of juncos It is very difficult to break away and go to work these
days.
