[va-richmond-general] Smith Island trip

Here's a recently scheduled trip that you'll want to put on your
calendar.

Saturday, August 7, 2004-Smith Island, Maryland: Tyler Turpin has
organized a trip to Smith Island. Located in the middle of the Chesapeake
Bay, Smith Island is a great spot to observe gulls, terns, herons, ibis
and migrating shorebirds. We?ll leave the dock near Reedville, VA. at
10:00 A.M. ( Plan to arrive at the boat no later than 9:45.) Once we
arrive at Smith Island we?ll be met by an U.S. Fish and wildlife Service
naturalist who will show us around. Call 804-453-3430 to reserve your
spot on the Smith Island Cruise boat. Cost is $24.50 per person. Bring a
picnic or plan to eat at one of the local restaurants. For more
