The list got going pretty well again today:
Double-Breasted Comorant
Eastern Bluebird
Tufted Titmouse
Redtailed Hawk (the two species of hawks were actually in close proximity to
one another; they started soaring the thermals together for a bit before
drifting off in separate directions)
Redshouldered Hawk
Redheaded Woodpecker (overrun by them; if you want to see these birds in
abundance, this is the place to do it)
Mallard Duck (saw a pair with no less then 10 ducklings)
White-eyed Vireo
Veery
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Northern Cardinal
Belted Kingfisher (the pair was hunting separately and later was perched
together on a log in Gregory Pond)
Redwinged Blackbird
Blue Jay
Tree Swallow
Whitethroated Sparrow
Marsh Sparrow
Redbellied Woodpecker
Boat-tailed Grackle
American Crow
Great Blue Heron
Carolina Chickadee
