[va-richmond-general] Re: Sharpie and Coopers at my feeder today

About 3 weeks ago, I had a Sharp shinned land near my feeders. It only took 
about 30 minutes for the small birds to return. They are mostly after the doves.

  Does this mean you didn't get any other birds for the rest of the day? If I 
were a bird I wouldn't be anywhere near a hawk. A couple of years ago I saw a 
red-shouldered hawk perched in a tree in my yard. We did not get any other 
birds for the rest of the day.

  Today a Sharp-shinned Hawk made a pass at my feeder and a short while late a 
Cooper's Hawk perched on top of the sunflower feeder and then perched on the 
post holding the hanging bird bath.  Both nice adults.
