[va-richmond-general] Rockwood Park birds today
- From: "IE Ries" <ieries@xxxxxxx>

My list includes:
Osprey
Red-tailed Hawk
Redshouldered Hawk
American Kestrel
Bluegray Gnatcatchers (lots)
Yellowrumped Warblers (lots)
Belted Kingfisher
Woodpeckers: Redheaded, Downy, Redbellied
Northern Flickers
Many Carolina Wrens and Redwinged Blackbirds singing, Great Blue Herons and
Boattailed Grackles flying about, the usual Turkey Vultures, Carolina
Chickadees and Tufted Titmice, and what *appeared* to be a Barn Swallow. I
couldn't see the colors very well because the sun was behind the bird, but the
long spiked tail was in evidence. Was cool but very lovely out there.
