[va-richmond-general] Rockfish Gap Hawkwatch Trip

 I will be going to the Rockfish Gap 
> Hawk Watch on Saturday September 22. People wanting to follow me or carpool 
> can meet me in the parking lot of the Gaskins Park and ride lot. I am leaving 
> the lot at 7:00 A.M. The second to the last Saturday in September is usually 
> the peak day.Last year on peak weekend Saturday I saw hundreds of hawks of 
> several species pass through and a Perigrine Falcon come down from migration 
> altitude to catch and eat one of the pigeons only a half a mile away that was 
> residing in the overpass of I-64. I will not be taking car poolers myself as

> am going to some other places in the area after noon that day or even by

> A.M. The Hawk Watch is held on the side of the Inn at Afton Hotel overlooking 
> I-64 . The Hotel can be reached by getting off on exit 99 and going South
