[va-richmond-general] Re: Riverside Dr. (JRPS) and Stony Point pond

Spotted Salamanders were out partying on  Saturday night at the little puddle 
along Riverside Drive located opposite  the end of the pea-gravel walkway.  
They should be out Sunday night as well  since the weather seems so favorable.  
    The road will be closed about 8:30 or 9 pm.   The Pony Pasture Rapids 
parking lot will be open.  Just walk down the road  with a good flashlight and 
some heavy duty (warm) rain gear. Please let me know  if you see any others in 
the ditch just west of the puddle.  The water  level is awfully low and I 
haven't seen any activity there.
