[va-richmond-general] RAS Service Opportunity - New Event

Volunteer Prospect,
RAS is seeking two or three people to bring our display to an inaugural event in Hopewell called "A Day At The River." It is Friday evening, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, August 15th, 2008 at the new Riverside Park in Hopewell. This is being producd by the Sierra Club. The display is very easy to set up and transport. Kim Harrell is bringing her education birds for a presentation for part of the event time as well.
I am leaving to go out of town that week and I need a commitment from a couple of people by the end of the day this Saturday, August 9th. Please help us carry the message to an area that is so entwined with our James River conservation efforts. More details upon request.
