[va-richmond-general] Powhatan MAPS season begins

The first session of the Powhatan MAPS (Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survuvorship) station for 2006 was held this morning. An enthusiastic and dedicated set of volunteers from Richmond Audubon assisted with the operation of the station in a very successful opening day. We processed 55 birds: 47 new and 8 returns from previous years. Nine warbler species .

New birds:
