[va-richmond-general] Plans for Purple Martin Festival

Hi everyone,
I am working on the committee for the Purple Martin Festival in the 17th Street Farmers Market and need to know if there is any other information we need to put in the brochure/posters or on the websites.
I have a meeting Wednesday evening so any feedback before that would be great. 

This would be a great opportunity for:

membership drive
T shirt sale
RAS kids fund raiser
adopt a purple martin
field trips
speaker
Spaces are to be reserved by 1 July for $10, you should contact the 17th Street Farmers Market for that. (Bob already has one space, How big is that space?) We want to spread it out this year. Last year it was crammed in one corner. They are going to have the restaurants spaced between conservation groups so that will be nice.
It was requested that a speaker be available. Probably in the time frame of 6 to 8PM on July 25th. Do any of our members know anyone who would like to present something on the birds in the area, not necessarily the Purple Martins as that conservation group will be giving out info on them?
Please forward this to any other that should be or want to be involved as I don't have everyones emails. Please send me info, ideas, comments!!! Greatly appreciated! Let's make this Bird Festival a great success!
