[va-richmond-general] Re: Piney Grove-Saturday May 28

Make sure you don't show up at 5:16 AM. They will leave without you.
Right Julie?

> Join RAS for a trip to the Nature Conservancy's Piney Grove Site in
Sussex County on Saturday May 28 for our target species the
Red-Cockaded Woodpecker. Last year's trip was a success with many
other birds seen i.e Brown-headed Nuthatch, Hooded Warbler and
Red-Headed Woodpecker to name a few.
> Clark White from the Cape Henry Bird Club will lead us again this
year. Seeing these little woodpeckers is very time-sensitive therefore
we will be leaving the Virginia Diner on Route 460 at 5:15 am. After
getting over the initial shock of getting up at this hour and seeing
the birds we will re-caffeinate at the VA Diner then go out for some
more birding in the general area of Wakefield.
