A few years ago we saw a huge flock of grackles in our yard. Mixed in with
them were starlings and two red-winged blackbirds. It is the only time I
have seen red-winged blackbirds in our yard.
I heard fish crows a few days ago in our neighborhood.
Which Centerville do you mean? There are 9 Centervilles in Virginia and 2
Centrevilles.

I found some interesting birds this weekend as I was out and about:
-A solitary Red-winged blackbird hanging out with a flock of Grackles in Gum
Spring
-Two Fish crows calling out to one-another on Dogtown Rd near Sandy Hook
-The peeent-ing of a Woodcock at dusk (again on Dogtown Rd)
-And a quite vocal Phoebe in Centerville
Good Birding,
Kirk
