I have emailed the other RAS (Richmond Astronomical Society) about light
pollution and birds. Light pollution is of considerable concern to RAS*,
since it interferes with seeing the stars. We will see if anybody knows
about the problem there.

responsible for getting such an ordinance passed in Powhatan. That
individual is a very active member of the International Dark Sky
Association and lives in Powhatan. Am confident she would be glad to help.
