[va-richmond-general] New Orleans birding hot spots?

Hello all-
I will be in New Orleans for a few days for business and pleasure from 4/1
- 4/6, though I won't have all that time for birding. I'm primarily interested
in seeing lake Pontchatrain, the Gulf, the Mississippi, and the Atchafalaya
Swamp. I've heard Grand Isle may be the place to go to see the Gulf and that
birds in migration sometimes drop in there after crossing the Gulf. Any other
suggestions? Thanks.
