Opening night of (first time) Northern Saw Whet Owl banding at Dutch Gap Conservation Area in Chester was a success! Crossing the finish line first was a beautiful 93 gram adult female being banded and released. This was very exciting and I believe adds a new bird to the species inventory of the area.
Dutch Gap...not just for Prothonotary's :-)
