[va-richmond-general] Missing nestlings

I did not think the wrens or the mockers were ready to fledge, but sometime
between my class out of town on Thursday and yesterday afternoon all eight
are gone. I did find one dead mocker in the nest, but if it was a crow or
another predator I would think they would eat everything. Do they fledge
during rainstorms to attract less attention? All four adult birds are AWOL
and there are no hungry fledglings around..
