Recipe for a Spectacular Trip:
10 paddlers
8 boats
2 clouds
59 gadillion autumn leaves
760 acres of Millpond
stack-able turtles
24 species of birds
1 itsy bitsy tree frog
endless laughter and never-ending enthusiasm
Preheat pond to 67 degrees. Prepare boats with easy access to optics, cameras and Snickers bars.
Fasten PFD.
Paddle gently.
Fold in leaves and season with duckweed to taste.
Blend in musical songs of Winter wrens accented with the honking of migrating geese.
Snap photos of Spanish moss and Resurrection Fern-do this quietly so as not to disturb the basking sliders.
Mix in unique personalities, conversations and talents.
Bake @ 67 degrees for 6 hours under a cloudless sky.
"Take-out" carefully. Cut into 4X6 memories. Serves a large crowd and will keep a lifetime.
