Friday night, the Kestrel was repeatedly hawking moths and large insects. The
Kestrel was carrying the food over the top of the Diamond overhang.
On Wednesday night, Rex and Kathy Springston reported seeing the hawk catch a
small bird over the outfield and then reverse direction. The bird perched and
proceeded to eat this bird.
Common Nighthawks were also seen Friday night over the Diamond. It's difficult
to watch birds and the baseball at the same time.
