[va-richmond-general] June 24-Moonlight Paddle-Dutch Gap

Tired of getting up early for those crack of dawn birding trips? Here's your 
chance to roll out at 5:30 PM and meet us at Dutch Gap in Chesterfield for a 
Tidal Lagoon Paddle on June 24 from 6-9 pm. This trip will be organized by RAS 
and led by 2 Naturalists  from Chesterfield Parks and Recreation. Chesterfield 
Parks and Rec will supply canoes and sit-on-top kayaks. The fee is $15.00 for 
the 3 hour interpretive guided paddle (under the full moon). Here's a great 
opportunity to see bitterns up close, listen to frogs and enjoy a Barred owl 
serenade. 
You must register with me to participate. Deadline is June 20. Chesterfield has 
capped the number of paddlers to 14. Call me at 530.3660 to reserve your spot
