Count us in. We can do any area, although we haven't been to the flood wall yet 
so are not familiar with it. We do know where Ancarrow's Landing is, and have 
done most of the other spots before.

Also heard that Brian Townsend is going with you to Presquile. He had signed up 
for Varina Farms, so I guess I will take him off the list for Sector 9.

  If the Christmas counts don't fit into your holiday plans why not start the 
New Year with our annual James River Winter Bird Count on Saturday January 7 
from sunrise till 10'ish. This is an informal bird species inventory of the 
birds in each sector (not quantity) which we record each year and then share 
our results over a pot-luck breakfast/brunch at the home of Mary Arg and Larry 
Robinson on Landria Drive in Richmond. Breakfast starts around 10. 

  What: James River Winter Count
  Where: Sector or your choice.our need followed by breakfast Landria Drive
  Who: Anyone interested
  Why: Why not?
  When: Saturday Jan 7 Sunrise-till 10 am
  Bring: Optics, field guide, dress for the weather, your favorite breakfast-y
