[va-richmond-general] If you feed them-they will come

Woke up to my first calling Grey Catbird this morning. A morning survey of the garden gave me a nice look at my FOS Worm-eating Warbler as well as what seems to be my resident Brown-headed Nuthatches feeding away at the safflower.

The best bird for me so far today was the long awaited arrival of a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. I don't know any other spring arrival that can just make you drop everything and run for the binocs and camera. This bird usually goes straight for the safflower-today it is the sunflower.

Lots of bird song in the yard-can't get anything done.
Enjoy the Spring!
