Hello All,
Just (as of 1pm) saw an Iceland Gull (1st cycle/1st winter, which ever you
prefer) on the rocks from the floodwall on the south side of the river. I was
in line with the Wachovia building when I had the best views. It was just
beyond the dam. Lots of gulls, perhaps 2000, mostly Ring-billed and Herring.
Only 15 or so Great Black-back, but at least 8 Lesser Black-back (6 adult, 2
3rd cycle). Probably the most Lessers I've seen downtown.
Also an Osprey on the old bridge tressel below Manchester Bridge.
And curiously a Wilson's Snipe in some vegetation on the rocks.
