My apparent last one was a fat female that spent most of the day here on the
3rd. It was definitely a different individual from the scrawny immature that
was last seen on the 2nd.
Last sighting at this location last year was October 4.

story just south of Richmond in Chesterfield County. Up until Wednesday the 1st
of October we were seeing at least one and sometimes 3 hummers, including
females and juvenile males. On the 3nd we saw one female one time only. On the
4th one female came continuously, feeding every few minutes for a good part of
the day. Since then we haven't seen one hummer. So I think they are gone south.
How does it look in your neck of the woods?
