We had a beautiful breezy day for our monthly walk at Henricus. We birded the bluff, the board walk and then stopped at the platforms overlooking the marsh. We had a total of 52 species, the most notable of which were: two fuzzy Red Shouldered Hawk Chicks on the nest in the fort, a young Pilate Woodpecker calling for Mom from the nest hole and a lovely Summer Tanager glowing in the morning sun.
