[va-richmond-general] Re: Henricus 3/20/04

I was also at Henricus this lovely morning. Jose and I did see a
Yellow-throated Warbler on the 4-mile trail behind the visitor center. It
was in the pine trees after you veer left at the half-mile point. I had good
looks at it as it "played" among the pine cones, but then lost it. Jose
caught up with me and we found it again a bit further along the trail.

Jose, I hope I got your name right!

The sun was pleasant but the wind was cold this morning! No sign of any
Yellow-throated Warbler, but the song of the Winter Wren was a nice
consolation.
Duck numbers seem to have declined significantly, indicating their
departure.
Good news -- two active Great Blue Heron nests.
