[va-richmond-general] Henricus

Hi everybody!

After the VSO Board Meeting yesterday, a quick ride through Henricus
park produced:

"many" Snipe feeding in the muck (that is a scientific term... haha)
just beyond the open water between the roadway and the treeline. Most
were seen just beyond the first observation platform.

Great Egrets are also picking up in numbers with six observed on Friday
morning.

The Osprey has been working on the nest that they used last year.

A Red-shouldered Hawk has also been hanging out around the wetland.

Waterfowl included: Wood Ducks, Gadwall, A. Wigeon, N. Shovelers, and
Mallards.

This morning will probably be another good day for the waterfowl and
snipe.
