[va-richmond-general] Harrison Lake-March 28

8 paddling birders hit the water early this morning in canoes and kayaks to
enjoy the song and quick looks at Yellow-throated warblers. The temperature was
a little cooler then expected and the sky grayer then predicted but we all had
a great time and burned off a few carbs as we paddled the lake and swamp.

Highlights:

Wood duck
Osprey
Bald Eagle
Barred Owl
Canada Goose (on nest)
Red-tailed Hawk
Brown Creeper
Eastern Bluebird
Belted Kingfisher
Pine Warbler
Yellow-throated warbler
Ruby-crowned kinglet
...and the other expected species. Many singing frogs, jumping fish and empty
cavities waiting for the arrival of the Prothonotary warblers!

Thanks to all who turned out this morning!
