Hello Birders and Gull Fans,
Quite a few Gulls downtown today. I gave them a good grilling
(metaphorically speaking) at lunchtime today from the Floodwall on the
Southside between 12:15 and 1:30. Probably around 1300 birds (a rough
guestimate).
4 Lesser-black Backed Gulls (3 ad. 1 1st CY)
c.200 Greater-black Backed Gulls
c.400 Herring Gulls
c.400 Laughing Gulls
c.300 Ring-billed
Other species present -
Belted Kingfisher
Double Crested Cormorant
Canada Goose
There has been a Peregrine in the area, but I didn't see it today.
