[va-richmond-general] GHOW at the Carillon 18 March 2009

Took a quick ride up to the Carillon to check the GHOW nesting progress about 2pm yesterday. Mom was out of the nest. I saw one little wing flap coming from the nest but didn't see any flopping little white fuzzies. Mom stood like a sentry unimpressed with my presence and the mobbing blue jays. A Red Tail took a perch on the top of the Carillon and Robins covered the lawns.
Here's a week photo I took through the scope-you get the idea.
