I think that Virginia is allowing landing of horseshoe crabs no matter where they are caught. I know that they are continuing to decline, and the birds are still suffering. The medical uses for the crabs are important, those crabs are bled and returned to the water. They are otherwise only used by people baiting traps for conch and eels which are sold to Japan. I think the bill will pass the house, I am more worried about the senate. Margaret O'Bryan
