If that's between the 9th and 14th Street bridge in the middle of the river, it's an osprey. I have seen the nest and bird while kayaking downtown.

Hey there,
This is Andrew Freiden from NBC 12. We just installed a wonderful new camera on the Troutman Sanders building downtown and we've all been watching this nest below with great interest There is some sort of large bird there and we can't figure out what it is. Any ideas? You can look at refreshed versions during the day by going here

and scrolling to the bottom. I can't guarantee that the shot will stay trained on the nest all day because we use the camera for shots during the newscasts... Also, I know the picture is tiny but I can't figure out how to make it bigger! Thanks for your help!
