Nature Friends,

 

If you are interested in Purple Martins and Bluebirds, I'm just letting you
know about this birding event in central Virginia next Saturday, June 27.
I'm sending 3 flyers about it (please see Attachments)--the only difference
in the three  2009 documents is a variation in the directions at the bottom
(and the South Boston one adds me as a local contact); so you'll only need
to look at the version that matches the direction you'd be coming from
(Richmond, Roanoke, or South Boston area.)(Maybe by next year's event, I can
figure out how to squeeze all those directions into one document!)  I've
also included a photo of a previous year's Field Day (the other Attachment).
I've driven 2.5 hours, each way, for the past 7 years to go to this event,
and it's lots of fun to learn more about birds, and I've really enjoyed
meeting others who enjoy nature.  Hope to see you there!  If you aren't able
to attend, feel free to forward this to anyone you know who might live
closer and be interested in joining us!
