RAS had a phone call from someone who said they have not been mowing
their pasture in order to protect the nesting area of Eastern
Meadowlarks. She wants to know when will the birds be finished
nesting so they can mow their pasture. The Stokes Guide to Bird
Behavior seems to indicate that breeding can continue until the
middle of August. Does anyone have any better information on this?
