I don't know if someone has mentioned this or not, but there appears to be an
eagle nest on a power transmission line at the Wiley Bridge over the James
River. It is on the transmission tower at water's edge on the north side of
the
river, west of the bridge.
When I first saw it I thought it was an Osprey nest, but today a mature eagle
was sitting on the edge of it. the nest is also large like an eagle nest.
As you all know, eagles in this area lay eggs in January so its about time for
sitting to start.
