[va-richmond-general] Dutch Gap Monday the twentieth

What a beeeeeyooooootiful afternoon for birding it was!! Here is the list(I'll
leave the questionables for lastest): Myriad juvy Eastern Bluebirds-Northern
Mokingbird-Northern Cardinal-Pine Warbler(mixed in with the Bluebirds along the
fence)-Flicker-Downy Woodpecker(male)-Great Blue Heron-Great Egret(is there a
purer white anywhere in nature?)-Carolina Chickadee-Carolina Wren-Common
Yellowthroat(female)-scores and scores of Laughing Gulls(mostly juvies)-juvy
Red-Tailed Hawk-Wood Duck-Mallard-Belted Kingfisher(male)-American Crow-Turkey
Vulture-What I swear was a Philadelphia Vireo. Like most amatuer birders, I
suffer from Vireoidentiphobia, but the yellow-throated has that abrupt change
from yellow to white on the belly...this bird was uniformally pale yellow
underneath with no yellow glasses, but a faint white eyebrow, and I'm almost
certain that it was NOT a Red-Eyed either. The second question mark was Veery?
Definitely a Thrush with a blackdot shark's eye and pale e
 yering,
reddish-brownish-rufousish above(including tail), maybe a smidge smaller than
a Robin, but with absolutely NO spots underneath. Instead, his undersides were
a uniform iron gray. Also saw a family of White-Tailed Deer, and a couple of
Groundhogs....anyone, everyone...help with uncertainties!
