[va-richmond-general] Re: Daffodil

Although I haven't seen any flowers in bloom, the pyrocanthia (?) trees in
front of the school are budding. That seems odd to me.

It is an odd year. My annuals (pinks) in the front bed have suddenly burst
into bloom, and my newly planted daphne odora decided not to wait until
February and are ready to bloom any day now. Indoors, my orchids are a
  couple months early. Very strange.

Also, have you noticed the birds have eaten up almost all the holly berries
  already?

I have a very confused daffodil blooming in my yard. I have lived in this
spot since 1945, and have NEVER had a daffodil bloom in December.
