[va-richmond-general] Curles Neck Farm , 11/8/09

RAS enjoyed a good morning's birding at Curles Neck Farm today. 15 birders joined us as we explored the farm. We saw 75 bird species; Waterfowl were present in good numbers. and we saw flocks of Snow Geese (1000+) and many small flocks of Horned Larks (6 - 12+ in each flock). 

Unexpected: the single Golden Plover and the Common Goldeneye.

Always a pleasure to have permission to bird Curles Neck Farm.
