[va-richmond-general] Coots at Swift Creek Reservoir

There was a large group of coots on the reservoir today,  seemingly
intimidated by the many gulls swooping around them.
I haven't seen them there before - can someone tell me if it is common
to see them in this area at this time of year?  Private reply is fine,
just trying to learn.   Couldn't really tell from the information I
looked up - thanks!
