Actually the Cedar Waxwings and robins were there before the wind started
yesterday, at least in Varina.
There were large flocks of 30-60 waxwings all over the area in the early
morning while it was still raining and misty. Then the weather broke around
10:30 and the wind started. They were still there through all the wind and
changing cloud cover in the afternoon. Typical day for the CBC!

Yesterday's winds brought a flock of Cedar Waxwings to my holly trees
and between them and the Robins, all the holly berries are GONE!!
